- Data/Hard Drive Recovery:
- If, for some reason, your system crashes and you need your Word Documents, Spreadsheets, Pictures, Music, etc. recovered, then don't worry; we've got you covered! In about 85-90% of cases, hard drives aren't so bad that we cannot recover your files, so you've got the stats in your favor. Also, if you're computer's hard drive is so bad that we can't recover your files, then we won't charge you anything for trying!
- If we can recover your files, then we can fix your system and place all of your files back on your system right where you left them.
- Or we can get you a USB external hard drive and back up your files onto it
- Or we can burn them to CDs or DVDs
- In either instance (USB external hard drive or CDs/DVDs), you will be able to view and edit your files on any computer, not just your own!
- Computer Tune/Speed Up:
- If you're computer's starting to get bogged down and is slow no matter what you're doing on your system at the time, it's not your fault! Don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong. After a while of normal use, installing/uninstalling programs, surfing the internet, etc., you accumulate junk/unnecessary files and some of your systems settings get changed my applications, but don't get changed back - basically, there's a variety of reasons your, at one time, fast computer has started to slow, but the good news is that we can Tune it Up for you in just a couple of hours!
- Adware/Spyware/Virus Removal:
- If your computer constantly bombards you with pop-ups, especially if you didn't click on anything, or something keeps telling you your system is infected and you need to buy a certain piece of software, don't fall for it! The people selling you the "solution" are the same people who infected you! It's one big scam and once they get your credit card information, you can be charged out of site prices for software that doesn't even work.
- If you fall under this criteria, then your system is infected with Adware/Spyware/Viruses (collectively known as "Malware"), but don't worry, we can do one of two things:
- We can clean and disinfect your system and getting back in it's working condition before it got infected, or
- We can save your data files (documents, pictures, music, etc.) and reformat your system (i.e. taking your system back to the way it was when you first got it) which would be completely clean of all Malware and then we can place your data files back on your system right where you left them!
- Operating System Reinstallation/Reformat:
- If, for some reason, your computer needs to be reformatted (i.e. Windows re-installed), we can do that for you. Sometimes if your computer becomes severely infected with Malware, it may be more cost-effective to to back up your files and reformat the computer back to it's original, factory-shipped state - just as it was when you first got it.
- Computer Hardware:
- I can replace/install/update any kind of computer hardware (e.g. hard drives, motherboards, processors, RAM [memory], etc.). Upgrading your RAM is the cheapest and most cost-effective way to speed up a slowing computer and it literally takes about a minute to install, so labor will be cheap!
